Through education, advocacy, and fundraising efforts, CFWS empowers students and strengthens the community.
We work with other organizations on and off the Purdue Fort Wayne campus to raise community awareness of women’s studies and the ideas underlying the academic discipline. We organize annual feminist-themed events to raise money for awards and scholarships that benefit women’s studies students who are academically excelling and those in need of financial assistance. We seek out like-minded community members to join us in volunteering time and resources in whatever capacity they are able. Our mission is to remain a sturdy pillar of advocacy for the Women’s Studies Program of Purdue Fort Wayne and its students.
